started off with good cards early, first hand I had KJ but dodged the bullets
second hand dealt kings and picked up a nice pot vs queens, the ace on the turn slowed the action down but all good.

Early Game
I picked up A9 in late position which I limped in with hitting top pair.
I bet out and got called by Bubba and when the turn and river both queens I felt really safe with my hand when I bet pot on flop and turn and river. It didn’t get called on the river.
With my Ace King hitting top pair on the flop I got a lot of chips out of shane837, who hit top pair and the flush diamond draw. On the river I did make a nice size bet but looks like he is a non believer.
Very next hand I raise with Ace Six and get a couple callers. I hit trips on the flop and the 3 of us check it to the 4 of spades on the turn. I bet it out and bigbubba re-raises me, so I push him all in and he calls with his flush and straight draw.. but it didn’t complete and my trips hold up and I take a monster pot and the chip lead.
Middle Game
Chasing a flush draw with my Ace Nine of spades, phillivory takes a big pot with Aces.
Since break have gone card dead while seeing the other side of the table picks up cards.
30 odd minutes later blinding down frustration kicks in and I push under the gun with KJ and called by airhockey on the big blind with ace nine of clubs. I had to sweat my pair of kings on the flop with a flush and airhockey hitting the nine.
Early position picking up the bigchick (AQ) I raise it up and called by the other side of the table in the blind, 23bpm (A9), A46 flop he bets out and I re-raise all in and he calls. We both had hit our ace but I had the better kicker and now I finally got chips again.
Patience with these aggressive players has paid off in chips.

the straight hand
I elected to check this hand down, simply cause I didn’t want risk the decision if someone re-raised with the Queen to make the straight or just a big time bluff. I would have called a small bet 
Late Game
airhockey goes to make a move on the short stack in the big blind. A decent time to make a move unless I pick up a hand in that spot which I did, Queens. Brannie folds the BB and airhockey shows Ten Four. Again I have to sweat the flush draw to the river but the ladies come through for me.
Rhialto57 kept pushing all-in while at the final table. When he made the move on big blind while I was holding pocket Tens I considered a few things… I don’t like to race, this player likes to race and it only pays the top 3. So I make the call TT vs AJ.
He actually had a hand and I am nervous….phew the tens hold up.
3 handed I pick up some hands early, AJh scores from the button. Pocket Kings I get to re-raise and pick up some chips from the small stack. I got kings again and closing on first as hockiefan77 hits trip 4’s vs two3off pocket aces.
No luck for me when it comes to drawing, I push with the flush draw and back door straight.
Doesn’t hit 
so I am out in 3rd place $39

Nice cash out, you had to work for your money in this game.
I too noticed all the pocket rockets on the opposite side of the table, yet you managed to outplay and outlast those players.
Your win if flop seen % is looking good, you saw more flops than typical in this game and still managed to win almost half of the time, nice work

I watched this after I was out…b4 that wondering if you would get to my table and slurppppppp me.. lol.. I commented on other blog how you changed your game.. that was the first thing.. the second was when hokie was shortstack: brannies on the radio saying hmm beween these 3 I dunno hokie comes back a lot.. bam!!! the spell was cast.. he goes I think all in with a 7-10 offsuit and triples up!! WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.. just couldn’t believe it.. But gg glad you cashed.. sings>wb, your dreams were your ticket out.. well the names have all changed since you’ve hung around, but those dreams have remained and they’ve turned around.. wbwbwb
