New to Poker?

You have started seeing and watching poker played on tv and now want a taste of the action, the money doesn’t hurt either if you could win right.  Poker has come a long way, but has your learning poker been kind to you?
If not, lets look at what you should be learning.

There is a reason why I write the poker lessons here on this site. To help you better your game. Most of what is visible is basic knowledge of poker,  you really can find it anywhere. Mostly in books, but those books do leave out some KEY information.

As I wrote in my Beginner Mistakes lesson, pointing out the basics of why new players / bad players are losing money.
If you can avoid making the basic mistakes you can start making money, and who doesn’t want that?

So when you have some money, what do you do with it? Another common thing I see, and maybe guilty of myself a few times too. Is not using proper Bankroll Management. Allowing yourself the funds to stay in the game, is the only way you can come back over the top.

Here on Assistanc3Online, we have a poker league for members.  We have freerolls for you to try your new found strategy and learning skills in these games.  Then we follow that up with a small buyins, generally $2 or $5.

These games are being played on Players Cardroom. A site I recommend for its unique card generator and simplistic but appealing graphics. What I like most about this poker site, it is very good for tracking your poker stats. Which you will want to do to better your game.

You can post your stats, hand histories and any poker related questions in the poker forum.
Share in the glory of your now winning ways.

If you like my poker learning lessons,
and find them to be helpful to improving your poker game, you can take that another step further.

I do poker tutoring & coaching contact me on the forum at any time for more info
